Thorndale Chamber plans open house

The Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled an Open House at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 27 to honor its outstanding citizens for 2009.

Included in the honorees will be the Citizen of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Farmer of the Year, Agribusiness Person of the Year and Outstanding Student for 2009.

The Open House will be held at the TACC building in downtown Thorndale. The public is invited to attend this special event to recognize these citizens of our community.

Hospital sets health fair for May 22nd

Richards Memorial Hospital will host its annual Health Fair on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 12-noon, Jeremy Riney, adminstrator, announced.

“There will be health screenings, hea lt h educ at ion, an antique car show and many activities for kids and adults,” Riney said.
