Walk Across Texas draws 356 participants
Teams across Milam County are well on their way to walking the estimated 830 miles to “walk across Texas” during an eight-week program.
Currently, 27 community teams and 157 students in the Gause ISD are participating. Full Story

With the recent success of the Rockdale track team, it makes you wonder how much better the thinclads would be if Kiera Walton was still on the roster.
For those who don’t remember, Walton was a freshman sensation for the Lady Tigers, earning high point honors at the 2008 Rockdale Relays and then qualifying for regionals in the triple jump and high jump. Full Story
