MARKER DEDICATION


MARKER DEDICATION Friends, family and history buffs gathered Saturday at the dedication of a historical marker for Pin Oak Cemetery. From left are Elaine Baumann, Geri Burnett, Jackie Thornton, Alvin Wyatt, Watson Hubert Shafer, Steve Wyatt, Walter W. Williams and Randy Billingsley. Colors were posted by the Cameron VFW and members of Gause 4-H led the Pledge of Allegiance. The national anthem was sung by Kelly Lee Cooper. Other participants in the dedication were MCHC Chair, Geri Burnett, MCHC Marker Chair, Jackie Thornton. Invocation was by Don Wyatt and the benediction by Marvin Young Jr. Elaine Baumann of Gause was in charge of marker procurement and dedication.
