Milam EEA members attend District 8 meeting

Eleven Milam County Extension Education Association (EEA) members attended the District 8 TEEA meeting in Georgetown on April 15.

The meeting provided training for members as well as an opportunity to share program ideas. Barbara Walker of the Branchville club shared craft ideas her club members have prepared for their craft sale. Jo Randall and and Barbara Walko entered Cultural Arts exhibits for the district contest.

Three EEA clubs are currently active in Milam County: Branchville EEA, Friendly Progress EEA and New Salem EEA. Clubs hold monthly meetings to provide educational and social activities for members as well as conduct community service projects. EEA membership is open to any interested person.
