MILANO—Sarah Elizabeth Ferrara is the valedictorian and Joshua Hornby the salutatorian of the 46-member Milano High School graduating class of 2010.

Robbins earns teaching

SAN MARCOS–Sandy Robbins of Rockdale will graduate from Texas State University on May 14 with a bachelor’s degree in education. She will be certified to teach Kindergarten through fifth grades.

‘Shattered Dreams’ at Thorndale HS
Thorndale High School will be hosting the “Shattered Dreams” program on May 18-19, according to district superintendent Casey Callahan.

Haws, Tomecek win Alcoa Foundation scholarships
A Thorndale High School senior and a Brentwood Christian School senior have each won a four-year $6,000 Alcoa Foundation college scholarship in a national competition.
