HEAD-ON CRASH A 56 -year- old Tyler woman remains in serious conditions in Scott & White Hospital and a former Milano ISD superintendent escaped serious injury in this head-on, two vehicle collision at 2:24 p.m. Thursday on County Road 342 southeast of Milano. Nancy Pruett was flown to Scott & White Hospital with numerous broken ribs and a broken sternum after the accident. Ted Hubert, 78, who heads up the Milam County TRIAD (senor citizens) organization and writes a weekly Reporter column, reported only a little soreness from seat belt restraints. The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
