Nelson family reunion

MIL ANO—The annual Nelson family reunion will be held Sunday, May 30 in the Milano Civic Center with the doors to open at 10 a.m., a covered dish luncheon to be served at noon, and featuring a silent auction.

All family and friends are invited to attend and bring lunch and silent auction items and enjoy food and fellowship,

Doss family reunion

The annual Doss family reunion will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5 at the New Salem Home Demonstration Clubhouse at Fair Park, according to Debbie Doss Gage. For more information contact her at telephone 210-659-0321 or by fax at 210-659-8833.

46th Appelt reunion

The 46th Appelt family reunion is scheduled for Sunday, June 6 at Appelt’s Hill Hall in Hallettsville. Lunch will be served at noon. Meat, drinks, and paper goods will be furnished.

Attendees should bring a side dish or dessert, an item for a prize-drawing, photos for sharing or copying, and information to update their “limb” on the family tree.

RHS Class of 1941

The RHS Class of 1941 will hold its annual reunion June 12-13 at the Kountry Inn Restaurant. Visiting with classmates and friends will be from 1 until 4 p.m. Saturday with dinner at 7 p.m.

Following breakfast Sunday morning, the class will attend Rockdale’s homecoming at the Patterson Civic Center. “Class members are asked to bring one of their ‘special things’,” said Natha Lee House, publicist. RHS Class of 1955

The RHS Class of 1955 will hold a reunion from 1 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Taqueria Banda’s meeting room.

RHS Class of 1970

The RHS Class of 1970 will hold its 40th-year reunion on Saturday, July 10 at the Patterson Civic Center, according to Tom Guthrie, spokesman.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. and the reunion will include a meal and door prizes. “We welcome teachers and friends from other classes to come and visit,” Guthrie said.

RHS Class of 1980

The RHS Class of 1980 will hold its 30th-year class reunion at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12 at The Ranch. Classmates and guests are responsible for their own cost including cover charge, food and beverages.

Aycock exes reunion

Aycock Alumni Association will hold its annual reunion of former students of the Aycock School in Rockdale Friday through Sunday, June 18-20, according to Darleen Douglas, spokesperson.

On Friday, June 18, the former students will hold a meet-and-greet function at the home of Preston Moultrie, 800 Metcalfe.

Saturday, June 19 will be the main event to be held in the New Salem Clubhouse at Fair Park.

A variety of entertainment is planned.

Former students are asked to send registration to Aycock Alumni, PO Box 1160, Rockdale TX 76567. Registration is $30 per person, $50 per couple, $10 for ages 12-18, $5 for age 5-11.
