Wine trail set June 19

A summer wine trail, featuring stops at three wineries and three wine bars, is set for June 19, according to Dan Marek Jr., spokesman and owner of Georgetown Winery.

The $35 trail price includes a souvenir wine glass, three tastings at each location, snacks and a gift. The trail will have three start locations and two start times. Trail times will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.

Stops include Georgetown Winery, Inwood Estates Winery in Florence and Salado Winery/Sellers, as well as three wine bars, the Silver & Stone Restaurant, The Vineyard at Florence and Salado Swirl & Sip.

“Only 150 tickets will be sold per time and with only 50 people starting per location, to help control overcrowding at the locations,” Marek said.
