Hearne man faces 11 charges after arrest

A 39-year-old Hearne man remains under arrest on $92,000 bond this week after police in that city alerted area authorities of numerous credit card/debit card warrants against him.

Charles James Toliver was charged with 10 counts of credit card/debit card abuses, all occurring out-of-county.

He was arrested by Ofc. Steven Cooper of the Rockdale Police Department.

Toliver also drew a charge of theft of property ($50 to $500) in connection with a shoplifting charge at the Rockdale Walmart.

Sex assault

Deputy Jay Beathard is investigating a reported sexual assault.

The incident was reported at 8:14 a.m. Thursday on South Sixth Street in Buckholts.
