Church to honor grads

By LU SPENCE Reporter correspondent The dinner honoring the 2010 Forest Grove graduates will be on Sunday, May 30 following morning worship.

Bring your favorite covered dish and help wish our graduates Gina Davis and Bobbi Bruce from high school and Allison Ross from college. God-speed as they continue on with their individual plans.

Claude, Lanell, Rod and Lu Spence and Lexie Wheaton of Iola, along with members and f r iend s of t he St iba family, attended Blake Spence’s graduation from Texas A& M University on May 14.

Attending the graduation of Candace Culpepper Light Saturday, May 22, were Hollins, Denyce, Claude and Lanell Spence; Bill and Nora Light of Cameron; Blaine, Brittany and Baylee Wall of Rockdale; Dallas Spence of Dallas; and several family members.

Candace received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from St. Mary’s University Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Mark your calendar and plan to attend Vacation Bible School at Forest Grove Christian Church beginning on June 14.

The community was deeply saddened this week to learn of the death of Trenton Key of College Station.

Trenton has many family members and friends in the Rockdale area, many of whom traveled to Bryan for visitation and funeral services. We send our heartfelt sympathy to Trenton’s family and friends at this time of sadness.

Mallory and Macy McDaniel enjoyed a happy birthday time at Hoppin’ Hippo in Hutto on Saturday afternoon celebrating with many of their family and friends.
