New professional development classes available locally
American Academy of Crisis Counseling (AAOCC), in existence since 2001, recently launched its new professional development division. AAOCC will provide students with the opportunity to develop and enhance skills through its professional development programs, said Shawn Lemieux, executive director of American Academy of Crisis Counseling. Local muralist Kim Finley is sprucing up a historic building in downtown Rockdale, which will now be dubbed the P.H. Perry Building. Perry descendant James Perry owns the building and will run his cattle business out of part of the building. Finley and husband Bernie will operate out of the other half, selling art works.
