FG Bible School ahead

School is officially out for another term. We know our students and teachers are looking forward to a muchdeserved break. Have a safe and pleasant summer.

Forest Grove honored graduates on May 30. Bobbi Bruce and Gina Davis were presented w it h Bibles dur ing mor ning worship and along with their families were honored at a dinner following the worship service.

Claude and Lanell Spence traveled to Iola for their graduation ceremonies. Claude and Lanell were a part of the Marie Spence Wheaton Memorial Scholarship presentation given each year to a deserving Iola graduate.

Please mark your calendars and get ready to br ing your children to Vacation Bible School at Forest Grove June 14-18. Prekindergarten through fifth grade students are welcome.

Morning activities begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon.

Morris, Tracy, Kaylie and Belle Kyle have returned from a vacation to Disney World followed by a Disney cruise.

Claude and Lanell Spence and Hollins and Denyce Spence enjoyed a busy few days this week.

Visiting them were grandchildren Baylee Wall of Rockdale; Kaitlyn, Evan and Ely Gilbert of Fairfield.

Denyce Spence traveled to Teague for a visit w ith Erik, K ayla Gilber t and child ren. Going with Denyce and enjoying a visit with her grandparents in Fairfield were Lisa and Abbie Navarre.

Several from Forest Grove attended the “Love Billy Bob” gathering at San Gabriel Christian Church on Sunday afternoon.

Rod and Lu Spence traveled to Tomball for a visit with Jerry, Shari, Heather and Spence Rahm.

Woody and Mary Beth Burgess traveled to Georgetown to attend funeral services for Oyce Owens, wife of Alfred Owens. We send our sympathy to the Owens family at this time of sadness.

The Burgesses also enjoyed a visit with Ronald and Alice Owens in Troy.
