Take it from me: Back up that computer data!

I am singing computer woes this week with a crashed computer and trying to recoup all of the info I have.

Thanks to Hunter’s Computer Shoppe — they gave me quick service to save what they could.

But let me be an example to you, if you don’t have everything backed up and saved correctly, you too will be singing the computer blues. I never realized how dramatic losing my information could be until now, and I promise you it is no fun.

So any of you who e-mail me I would appreciate an e-mail to help me get my addresses back.

For something to be such a good thing it fast becomes a bad thing when it is not working right.

And be sure you have a good anti-virus because that is what took me down — a monster virus.

Ribbon cuttings

This week we have two ribbon cuttings.

The first one is Thursday, June 17th at 12:30 p.m. at Rockdale Welding supply, located at 344 S. FM 487. Their grand opening begins at 11 a.m. with food and door prizes. They are an authorized Airgas dealer. There is also a drawing for a Miller Max Star 150 welder. Wouldn’t that make a great Father’s Day gift?

Come out and welcome Rockdale Welding Supply to Rockdale and to the Chamber.

The second ribbon cutting is at 1 p.m. Friday, June 18 at the American Academy of Crisis Counseling located in the Institute for Teaching God’s Word.

Come out and meet the staff as we welcome the AAOCC to Rockdale.

Until next time I leave you with this: Don’t be afraid of the future, God is there already.
