7-day cruise will boost Milano scholarship fund

MIL A NO—The Milano Ex- Students Association scholarship committee has set Feb. 6-13, 2011 as the date for the scholarship fund-raiser cruise.

The 7-day cruise will bring $140 to the scholarship fund for every cabin sold. First deposit of $50 per person is due July 15. For an early saver rate, the entire deposit of $200 can be made and the interior cabin rate is only $476. Regular rate for this cruise is $586 for an interior cabin.

To get credit for this scholarship fund, five cabins must be sold, two people per cabin. Rates are lower for any third or fourth guests in a cabin.

Deposits are refundable until Nov. 15. The scholarship committee will be offering mini-scholarships again this fall. Any Milano graduate who has completed one year of schooling and is enrolled for the next semester is eligible to apply. The amount of the scholarship depends on the number of applicants. No Milano graduate will be turned down.
