Eickenhorst

CA MERON—F u nera l services for Henry Ernest Eickenhorst, 90, of Austin, formerly of Rosebud, were held Saturday, June 19, 2010, in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Rev. Elizabeth Hanley officiating. Burial followed at Hope Lutheran Memorial Park in Buckholts.

Mr. Eickenhorst died Thursday, June 17, in an Austin nursing facility.

He was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Buckholts to Henry and Mary Eickenhorst.

Mr. Eickenhorst served in the U.S. Armed Forces and was a farmer and member of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Cameron.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Eickenhorst, and his wife, Hattie Heintze Eickenhorst, on May 15.

Sur v ivors are a daughter, Martha Trleglaff of Austin, and a sister, Effie Hall of Baytown; also, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
