On-line support urged for essay writer

Dear editor,

I’m Joshua Hornby and am a recent graduate of Milano High School. I was second in my class and will be attending the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin this fall.

I am competing in an essay contest sponsored by RVOS Insurance and need the support of the community for my essay to be judged.

To be judged, my essay has to be among the top 10 receiving votes by July 31 and I am currently in 14th place.

First prize is a $5,000 scholarship, which would really help me out in minimizing my student loans. I have already received some scholarship monies and I am working a summer job.

This is my second summer taking classes at Temple College. When I start at UT, I will already have 30 college credits.

Reporter readers can read and vote for my essay Freedom of Expression at http://www.rvos. com/essay/)ffddd.

You need an e-mail address and can vote only once.

The topic I chose to write about is “Which of the 27 Amendments to the United States Constitution is the Most Meaningful to You and Why?”

I will appreciate the support.
