Three sentenced in 20th District Court action

Three persons were sentenced last week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Christopher Scott Gunnels, 22, Milano, pleaded “true” to probation revocation allegations on an original charge of burglary of a building, probation revoked and 18- month state jail term and $700 restitution assessed.

• Jeronimo Nuñez, 61, Cameron, pleaded guilty to a lesser Class A misdemeanor offense of driving while intoxicated-second offense, 365-day county jail term, probated for two years with standard conditions of DWI probation, including one year’s driver’s license suspension, successfully complete DWI intervention class, $1,000 fine and $410 court costs.

• Graciela Rodriguez, 52, Thorndale, pleaded “true” to violating probation conditions on an original conviction of burglary of a habitation, four-year prison term, $358 parole restitution.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
