Existing location better choice for JP office

Dear editor,

I read with interest the article in the July 15th edition of your paper “New Pct. 3 J.P. office eyed at current site.”

With the numerous vacant buildings and structures in our fair city I wondered why they would find it necessary to build

new structure.

Surely the vacant HEB, Walmart, or Video Store would have enough square footage to house the J.P. court.

As the county commissioners are always concerned about costs it would seem they would consider these options.

This would also enhance the look of our city to have fewer vacant buildings within our city limits.

Thank you for your consideration in holding the line on taxes and excess costs.

Sincerely, Michael Brannam brannamm@benetechusa.com
