• Tuesday, 8-10-10, Levelup operations on FM 1915, from US 190 to FM 437

Texas Water Development Board will host a planning meeting for Groundwater Management Area (GMA) 12 at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11 at the Milano Civic Center, 120 West Avenue E in Milano.

Rockdale ISD’s 2010 accountability ratings from the Texas Education Agency (TEA) were the best since the agency switched to its current form of reporting ratings in 2004.
Rockdale Elementary School, Rockdale Intermediate School and Rockdale Junior-High School were all rated as “recognized.” Full Story

Hottest day of the year greets 95 Big Blue players
Miller pleased with conditioning of players: ‘All-in-all it was a great first day.’
Rockdale head coach Jeff Miller welcomed 95 players to the first round of practices bright and early Monday morning and that number is larger than last season’s turnout of 90.
Miller had 40 freshman turn up, which is the highest total in his five years here.
