Thorndale council discusses lawsuit
THORNDALE—City council members in Thorndale went into executive session last Wednesday to discuss its pending lawsuit against Southwest Milam Water Supply Corporation.
No action can be taken in executive session. In open session the council okayed an agreement to allow negotiation of contract provisions.
Council members reviewed the preliminary city budget and set a budget session for 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18.
In other business, council members approved healthcare, dental and vision plans for city employees, and approved the sale of a 1981 fire truck.
