A group of volunteers were out helping to clean up the Hurt Cemetery south of Milano on Saturday. Those coming out to help were Virgil and Danice Hurt of Milano, Derek and David Galbreath of Frankston, Josh Young of Palestine, Jay Wise of Milano, and Charles Hubert of Sandy Creek area west of Milano. Virgil Hurt had mowed the cemetery last week, after an unknown someone had used a front end loader to move the large tree from the middle to one side of the cemetery. The workers Saturday cut and trimmed several trees and underbrush and vines. “This is the best that the cemetery has looked in several years,” Virgil Hurt said. David Galbreath thanks all who turned out, especially the one who moved the large tree.
