Four draw sentences in 2oth District Court action
CAMERON—Four cases were disposed of last week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Kerry Spears, who listed case dispositions as follows:
• Gregory Edward Gunter, 48, Beaumont, pleaded guilty to evading arrest with a motor vehicle (enhanced), two-year prison term.
• Anthony Eugene Miller, 34, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with sex offender requirements, four-year prison term. Miller received a second four-year sentence after pleading “true” to violating probation conditions for attempted indecency with a child. Sentences will run concurrently.
• Clara Rutherford, 50, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), 18-month state jail term.
• Anthony Joseph Creque, 29, Rockdale, pleaded true to violation probation conditions for possession of a controlled substance (less than one gram), his probation was revoked and he was assessed a 12-month state jail sentence.
