Fugitive sought by sheriff, police, troopers following chase, escape

Law enforcement officials in Milam County, and beyond, are searching for a Cameron man who fled from Cameron police last week.

Sheriff’s deputies, state troopers and Cameron police searched for 31-year-old Bobby Blaylock following a chase after a traffic stop on North Travis Street early last Wednesday.

During that chase, Ofc. Greg Eakin of the Cameron Police Department was injured, police said.

Blaylock is wanted for escape, on outstanding city warrants and on other charges.

Burglary

Thorndale Ofc. Wade Boedeker made a burglary arrest Saturday.

Jacob Tyler Richardson, 19, of Thorndale, remains in the county jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
