Students from Thorndale Elementary, St. Paul Lutheran and Great Expectations Pre-School were treated to an educational assembly program by “Ms. Skeeter,” the clown. She entertained them with magic tricks, a bilingual presentation on facts and information about the history of the circus, and even kept up her dialogue with sign language.

Selected students were taught how to balance a peacock feather and earned a free pass to the circus for their efforts. The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus performances are at 5 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30 at the Thorndale City Park. The three ring circus will have advance tickets on sale at Thorndale businesses which are $9 for adults and $6 for children 2-12. Circus day tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for children 2-12. Come out and have a great, family-oriented, time and share the magic of circus with young and old alike.
