Dream Cars to host Lexington show on Saturday, October 16
LEXINGTON—Dream Cars of Lexington, Mary Atkins and Sam Scoggins, will presenting its fifth annual car show Sweet Autumn Kiss in conjunction with the Chocolate Lovers Festival Saturday, Oct. 16.
In the 2009 show, 28 classic and rare cars shown, seven of which belonged to show sponsors and producer Dream Cars. Full Story
MEET THE 2010 MISS ROCKDALE FAIR QUEEN CONTESTANTS
One of these 17 pretty contestants will become the new Miss Rockdale Fair Queen in the annual beauty pageant sponsored by Rockdale Fair Association, part of the 2010 Fair activities. The pageant is set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Rockdale High School auditorium. Full Story

Minerva dedicates antique gas pump
The 50t h Miner va Homecoming drew 52 persons to the Miner va Communit y Center Sunday, featuring dedication of an antique gas pump.
Oldest in attendance was former Minerva student, Bonnelle Gjedde.
A cake, with a picture of the community center, was baked by Bea Korenek, and the center was decorated with gold accents. Full Story
