GR A NGER—In their annual game against Granger, the Rockdale team proved that the Texans can beat the Cowboys after all.

The Texans have dominated the rivalry for the past six years and will get to keep their trophy for another season after grinding up Granger 39-0 in Youth Football League action.

So far, Rockdale is having a stellar season, owning the field, as no team has scored against the Texans.

Flag Blue lost to Thorndale 21-12, and Flag Red beat Granger 24-0.

“We have a winning tradition and we would like to see all four of our teams return to the Super Bowl this year,” said Texans coach Daniel Nelson.

This weekend the Texans will play their homecoming games at Tiger Stadium.
