Anyone who is interested in entering validated livestock to exhibit at Fort Worth, San Antonio, San Angelo, Houston or Star of Texas in Austin need to contact the Milam County Extension office and indicate your intention to show, which shows you will be entering and what specie(s) you will enter.
We will organize a packet of entries, forms and rules for those particular shows and go over how to properly complete the entries. The deadlines to have the completed entry forms and payment for each show will be due in the Milam County Extension Office as follows:
Ft. Wor th Stock Show - Nov. 1
San Antonio, San Angelo, Houston or Star of Texas – Nov. 19
Remember that the livestock show websites will show a different due date than what is listed above. This is because all entries must be entered as a group by the county extension office. The above deadlines ensure that entries can be made in a timely, accurate fashion, and we have opportunity to clear up any questions/ issues that may arise prior to the online deadlines.
If you have any questions, or wish to pick up a Major Livestock Show Packet, please call the Extension Office at 254-697-7045.
