PUMPKIN TIME–Pumpkins are in full harvest as fall time is here. Walmart donated pumpkins to Rockdale Intermediate School’s “Lights On Afterschool” celebration on Oct. 21. Above, Justin Nelson, Lynn Weaver (WalMart assistant manager), Dylan David, Aaliyah Nelson, parent Marie Deary enjoy decorating the orange balls. Justin and Dylan are fifth graders, while Aaliyah is in third grade. The “Lights On” event took place in afterschool programs across the nation. Other Walmart associates besides Weaver were also there to help out students participating in the program. The pumpkins were to be used as fall decor at the school and later, the students’ homes.
