Rockdale man charged with child indecency in Cameron

A 23-year-old Rockdale man was arrested Thursday and charged with indecency with a child by sexual contact in conn ection with an incident in Cameron.

Reginald Markeith Sanders was arrested by Ofc. Dale Bek ker of t he Rockdale Police Department on a Cameron warrant.

Sanders remains in custody on $100,000 bond.

Lt. Kris Stringer of the Cameron Police Department said he and Robert Hollas of Child Protective Services investigated the incident which involved a 14-year-old female.

Stringer said the victim is a Cameron resident.
