One injured in Sunday accident

One person was treated for injuries in a rural accident in the Rockdale area Sunday afternoon.

State Trooper Ernest Del- Bosque said a vehicle driven by Travis Slusher, 19, left County Road 320, .3-mile north of the CR 324 intersection, at 3 p.m.

The driver was taken by AMR ambulance to Richards Memorial Hospital, Rockdale, for treatment.

Damages were termed “moderate to extensive” by the DPS.

No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident early Oct. 26 between Rockdale and Milano.

Trooper Erik Gaston said a vehicle driven by Sharon Garza, 52, of Rockdale left County Road 334, .8-mile south of US 79 and struck a tree.

Gaston said the driver was attempting to miss a hog.

Moderate damages were repoted, according to the DPS
