Miller

CAMERON—Funeral services for Opal Glynn Miller, 83, of Academy, formerly of Milam County, were held Friday, Oct. 29, 2010, at Liberty Community Church near Milano with Rev. Burt Graham officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Tuesday, Oct. 26, in a Temple hospital.

A retired lab-tech for Scott & White Hospital, she was born Feb. 8, 1927, in Milam County to Ola Edward and Ella Annie (Reese) Swift.

She married Adrian Miller in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1980.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Ann Miller, three brothers and a sister.

Sur v ivors are a daughter, Brenda Jo (White) Andrews of Academy; a sister, Mary Nita Sloan of Temple; five grandchildren, Steven Ray Andrews and wife Missy, Randall Allen Andrews, Jodi Elease Brazeal and husband J.P., Jason Edward Early and Rhonda Glynn Alexander and husband Travis; eight great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ben and Colby Andrews, Joshua James Golden, Jenna and Scout Brazeal, K aylee and R aegan Alexander; and five great-greatgrandchildren, Callie, Chase, Addison, Brielle and Michael.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
