Rockdale raid nets three in burglary

Items recovered from rural break-in after search warrants served at residence

SHERIFF’S REPORT SHERIFF’S REPORT Three Rockdale residents were arrested Friday and Sunday in connection with an investigation into a rural burglary in the Tracy community by the Milam County Sheriff’s Department.

Charged were:

• Iterrean Mitchell, 38, unlawful possession of firearm by felon, possession of dangerous drug, tampering/fabricating physical evidence, burglary of a building, originally released on $12,500 bond, re-arrested and remains in custody on $100,000 bond.

• Tiffany Luppo, 28, tampering/ fabricating physical evidence, theft of property ($1,500 to $20,000), in custody on $70,000 bond.

• Chrissy Lynn Davis, 24, possession of dangerous drug, possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), released on $4,500 bond, theft of property ($500 to $1,500), originally released on $4,500 bond, re-arrested and released on $15,000 bond.

Sheriff David Greene and deputies executed a search warrant at the Mitchell residence on Eighth Street in Rockdale Friday night.

“While searching the residence, and other buildings, numerous items from the Tracy burglary were recovered,” Deputy Chris White said.

At that time Mitchell was arrested on the firearms charge and Davis on the two drug charges, he said.

Investigators Jay Beathard and Mike Hoyt continued to probe the case and obtain witness statements. After a meeting with Prosecutor Kerry Spears, Mitchell was re-arrested, and charged with the burglary and tampering offenses, and Luppo was arrested with the two charges filed against her.

“We appreciate the help of Constable Herbie Vaughan and the Rockdale Police Department for their assistance during execution of the search warrant,” Greene said.
