Charges filed against Kyle day care center director in death of infant
A 10-week-old infant who died Thanksgiv ing morning af ter sustaining head injuries at a Kyle day care center was the son of a former Rockdale Junior- High School band director and his wife.
Benjamin Spencer, son of Dee and Robin Spencer, died about 3 a.m. Thursday in Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin. Full Story

There are t wo “Chr istmas Cheer” programs hard at work in the Rockdale area this holiday season.
Monday is the deadline to submit applications for Christmas Roundup, a giant-sized effort that last year made the holiday brighter for 331 families containing 1,258 individuals, 800 of them children. Full Story
