MHS actors to stage comedy Monday

Curtain will rise on the one time only performance of “The Brother’s Grimm Spectaculathon” at 7 p.m. Admission prices are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students.

Spots are still available for the Milano First Baptist Church Christmas Bazaar. The sale will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4 at the church. For more information, contact the church office.

The annual Milano Christmas parade and meal as been set for Saturday, Dec. 11. The parade will line up at 9:30 a.m. at the Charlie Martin City Park with the parade starting at 10:30.

The city will again sponsor a free Christmas meal following the parade at the Milano Civic Center. Santa will be on stage here to visit with children after the parade as well.

Plaques and cash prizes will be awarded for first through fourth places in the parade. Winners will be announced in the Civic Center after the parade.

The annual Christmas decorating contest sponsored by the City of Milano will be held Saturday, Dec. 18. Judging will start at 7 p.m. Be sure to have your homes decorated and Christmas lights on. Plaques and cash prizes will be awarded for first through fourth places at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20 at the Milano Civic Center.

Milano Athletic Booster Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13 at the elementary cafeteria. They will be discussing many events for the winter and spring, including baseball/softball concession stand clean up days on Jan. 9 and 16, a spring “Meet the Eagles” on Feb. 10 and the annual alumni baseball and new alumni softball games set for March 5.
