We have started off the Christmas season with a bang. We had a wonderful weekend with our “All Aboard the Christmas Express.” Friday night we had a costume stroll and tree lighting. Area residents have unclaimed property
AUSTIN–One in four Texans has unclaimed property from forgotten bank accounts, uncashed checks, security deposits and utility refunds. There is more than $2.2 billion in Texas unclaimed property waiting to be returned.
Susan Combs, Texas Compt roller of Public Accounts returned more than $163 million to its owners in fiscal 2010, a $16 million increase compared to 2009. Full Story
