Brazos fugitive caught on Milam road by deputy

A 39-year-old College Station man, wanted by Brazos County authorities on an aggravated assault warrant, was arrested last Wednesday in Milam County.

Quincy A nderson was originally picked up for questioning by Deputy John Mendoza after the sheriff’s department was alerted to a man walking on FM 485 about five miles east of Cameron.

“The person who called us was aware of a pursuit in which a subject had not been located and thought there might have been a connection,” Chief Deputy Chris White said.

When investigators checked on Anderson they found he was wanted by College Station police for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, White said.
