SANTA’S COMING AND HE’S NOT ‘LION’—

SANTA’S COMING AND HE’S NOT ‘LION’—This is how Santa Claus arrived in Rockdale Saturday aboard the Noon Lions Club float at the end of the annual lighted parade. That parade drew an estimated 2,000 onlookers along a route which stretched from downtown to Fair Park. There were two days of events including music, food, arts and crafts, a kids “stroll,” exhibits at Rockdale’s depot museum, story time and, of course, plenty of time for children to share their Christmas wishes with Santa. More photos 3A, 1B, 4B, 5B, 6B, 1D.
