Final turkey winners listed by Chamber

Final winners in the annual turkey giveaway contest, sponsored by participating merchants through the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce, have been listed as follows:

P&Z Board to meet Thursday at City Hall

The Rockdale Planning & Zoning Board will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday at City Hall to discuss requests submitted by the city.

Requests are to move Offield Street 25 feet to the south, close a portion of West Roberts and replat several lots.

Members w ill also discuss the introduction and goals and objectice sections of the Comprehensive Master Plan.

Board members will also discyss a change in the P&Z/s regular meeting time.

ARB hearing tax protests on Friday

CA MERON—The appraisa l review board (ARB) of the Milam County Appraisal District will convene at 9 a.m. Friday to hear tax protests concerning 36 parcels of property.

Chief Appraiser Pat Moraw siad other items on the agenda include a chief appraiser’s report, motions to correct appraisal records and scheduling other hearings of protest.
