ONE B-I-I-I-G SANTA—There were plenty of Santas on display during Christmas In Olde Towne, the Rockdale Downtown Association’s homes tour Saturday, but this was the champion, keeping watch over the grand staircases at the Barkley Alford-Lee Pate home. The tour was the biggest ever, drawing 222 persons to eight historic homes and one church. Bernie Finley, spokesman for the downtown association, said the tour drew 75 more participants than the last event three years ago. See more photos on pages 6A and 1B.
