Phillips        Phillips Services for Cary Gene Phillips, 43, of Rockdale will be held at 10 a. m. Thursday, Dec. 16 , 2010, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale wit h Rev. Jan Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

 Visitation is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.

 Mr. Phillips died Saturday, Dec. 11,  in Shreveport, Louisiana, following an auto accident.

 He was born Sept. 9, 1967, in Houston to Charles Glenn Phillips Sr. and Gwendolyn Sue (Miller) Phillips.

 He married Paula Lee Burnett on Sept. 29, 1990, in Rockdale. Mr. Phillips was a directional drilling supervisor and member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale.

He was a 1986 Milano High School graduate and he coached girls softball .

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his mother, Gwen Phillips, on July 21, 2000.

Survivors are his wife, Paula Phillips of Rockdale; a son, Cade Garrett Phillips of Rockdale; two daughters, Kara Elizabeth Phillips and Krista Lee Phillips, both of Rockdale; his father, Charlie Phillips of Brackettville; his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Geri Burnett of Rockdale; two brothers, Charles Glenn Phillips Jr. and wife Beverly of Round Rock, Christopher George Phillips and wife Victoria of Huntsville; a sister, Kimberly Bryanne Westbrook and husband Robert of Brackettville; two sisters-in-law, Laura Carlisle and husband Tim, Beth Driskill and husband John, all of Round Rock; and 15 nieces and nephews, Rachel, Ryan, Amanda, Victoria, George, Ethan, Kayla, Grant, Holden, Hayden, Jacie, Jordyn, Keller, John Paul and Cannon.

Pallbearers will be Brent Miller, Joey Offield, David Boyd, Curtis Davis, David Pope, Michael Bull, Jim Beasley, Larry Luckey and Jason Almand.  Honorary pallbearer is Missy Coldiron.
