A reminder that Milam County is currently under a burn ban for the next 90 days.

Milano Athletic Booster Club has set up baseba ll/sof tba ll concession stand clean up days on Jan. 9 and 16, a spring “Meet the Eagles” on Feb. 10 and the annual alumni baseball and new alumni softball games set for March 5.

For more information, contact Karen Gray at 979-777-3960 or karen@cunninghamrealestate. com. While you are doing all that baking and cooking during this Christmas season, don’t forget to cut out the Educational Box Tops of participating products. Box tops are such an easy way for the schools to make money.

Milano’s PATCH Club is collecting the box tops and will turn for funds to help with the school. You can turn in the labels to the elementary school office, or let me know and I will get a PATCH Club member to come by and get them.

Family and friends gathered at the Norine Lagrone home for a Lagrone family Christmas. Almost 40 people were in attendance and we had plenty of food for all. Of course, the dominoes had to be rattled for a few games.

Merry Christmas from all of the Lagrone bunch.
