Brown Brown LEXINGTON—Funeral services for W.A. (Rusty) Brown, 71, were held Wednesday, Dec. 22, at Lexington Faith Temple.

Mr. Brow n died at his home on Sunday, Dec. 19.

He was born Aug. 7, 1939, in Bell County and grew up in Lexington.

He married Sherion Darlene Burlin on June 1, 1960.

Mr. Brown was retired from Alcoa after 31 years and was known as quite a prankster.

He enjoyed being outdoors and all animals. He was even known as “Monkey Man.”

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, William and Velma Brown, and a sister, Virginia Weaver.

Survivors are his wife, Sherion Darlene Brown; three children, Linda Smith, Terry Brown, Randy Brown and wife Charlotte, all of Lexington; a sister, Nell Poston and husband Jerry; three nieces, Jo Adams, Pat Buetow and husband Billy, Joyce Jones and husband Wayne, all of Lexington; and a nephew, Jerr y Poston Jr. of Lexington; also, nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Asera Care Hospice or Lexington Faith Temple.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
