Milano teams busy during break
MILANO–The No. 13 ranked Milano Eagles (11-1) got in two games before taking a break over the holidays, winning both and improving their record to 11-1.
After winning their first nine games, including two tournament titles, the Eagles fell on Dec. 14 to rival Thorndale in overtime. Full Story

Phillips, Miriles chosen for all-district spike
Rockdale senior Krista Phillips and junior Marissa Miriles were named to the 23-3A all-district volleyball team. Full Story
Turnage named to All- State volleyball team
Milano senior Masey Turnage was named honorable mention on the Texas Sports Writers Association Class A All-State team.
Turnage was recently named the district’s most valuable player for the second consecutive year.
Milano was 33-11 on the season and regional quarterfinalists for the third straight year.
