Multi-county plant ID training set Jan. 19
A multi-county plant identification training opportunity will be held Wednesday, Jan. 19. The training will be conducted at Bea’s Kitchen in Cameron starting at 5:30 p.m. We will have a pizza supper followed by a training provided by Dr. Barron Rector, Extension Range Specialist. Full Story
Second annual tree recycling program underway in county
Beginning after Christmas through Jan. 7, the El Camino Real Master Naturalists and City of Rockdale will provide dropoff locations for recycling Christmas trees.
The trees will be mulched and used at Wilson-Ledbetter Park in Cameron to prepare for the second annual Nature Fest scheduled for April 9, 2011.
