Beginning after Christmas through Jan. 7, the El Camino Real Master Naturalists and City of Rockdale will provide dropoff locations for recycling Christmas trees.

The trees will be mulched and used at Wilson-Ledbetter Park in Cameron to prepare for the second annual Nature Fest scheduled for April 9, 2011.

Drop off locations include the public works building at:

• City Public Works lot, 402 Mill St. in Rockdale;

• 1260 FM 1600 in Cameron;

• Griffin Chapel on US 190/TX 36 near Milano, CR 234 Loop, on the south side of the loop.

Patrons are asked to follow these rules regarding the condition of the tree:

• Trees must be free of tinsel and decoration.

• Flocked trees will not be accepted.
