Kayden is year’s first baby

The son of Trisha Ebba and Sherman Sanchez, little Kayden made his arrival at 9:02 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, at Scott & White Hospital, Temple.

He weighed seven pounds and was 19 inches long. He is greeted by sisters Marissa Ebba, Mariana Blackstock, Rosa Sanchez and Lyla Sanchez and brother Micah Sanchez.

Kayden wins for his parents over $1,000 in prizes donated by 39 participating merchants in the annual First Baby Contest as follows:
