No injuries reported in South Milam crashes

No injur ies were repor ted in four one-vehicle Rockdalearea traffic accidents investigated during the past week by Department of Public Safety state troopers.

Trooper Broderick Sims investigated an accident at 5:50 a.m. Jan. 4 on US 77, south of Rockdale.

He said a vehicle driven by Thomas Morris, 52, of Lexington, hit a deer.

Damages were termed moderate.

Minor to moderate damages were listed by Trooper Erik Gaston in connection with a Jan. 4 incident in which a vehicle struck a roadside pole in Milano.

Driver was Aldy Bowry, 33, of Killeen. Location was just east of the US 79-190 intersection, Gaston said.

Moderate to extensive damages were reported in a 6:22 p.m. Friday accident on Texas 36 just north of Milano.

Gaston listed the driver as Marin Robinson, 18, of Katy.

Gaston said another one-vehicle accident was repor ted at 10:59 p.m. Jan. 4 on US 77 south of Rockdale.

Dr iver was listed as Ross Schumann, 21, of Dime Box.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
