McCormick

LAMPASAS—Patrick Eugene McCormick, 58 of Lometa, formerly of Milam County, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at his residence.

No services are planned; his body will be cremated.

Mr. McCormick was born Aug. 10, 1952, in Cameron to Eugene (Mac) McCormick and Bennie Jean Smith McCormick.

He married Janet Lee Walsh on Dec. 31, 1991.

Mr. McCormick graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.1.812 in.

He was a quality control officer for Alcoa.

Mr. McCormick was preceded in death by his mother; a baby sister, Jane Aubrey McCormick; and his grandparents, Perilee and Henry McCormick.

Survivors are his wife, Janet Lee Walsh of Lometa; two daughters, Staci Kay McCormick Waggoner of Fort Riley, Kansas, Janie Jean Durst of Fort Knox, Kentucky; a son, Kyle Robert Walsh of Seguin; seven grandchildren, Se a n, Macken z ie, Mad a ly n, Michael Patrick, Zakary, Grace Lee and Nikolas; his father, Mac McCormick of Milam County; two brothers, Mike McCormick and Tommy McCormick, both of Milam County; and a sister, Debbie of Milam County.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
