Falling behind early, the Rockdale Lady Tigers dropped a 65-28 decision to Giddings on the road Tuesday night.
The Lady Tigers now stand 6-17 on the season and 0-4 in District 23-3A.

Thorndale second to ranked Jarrell
The Thorndale Lady Dogs have dropped out of the most recent Texas Basketball Coaches Association poll’s top 25, but they are still sitting in second place in the District 27-2A standings after the first round of league play.
Thorndale (18-7, 6-2) is behind leader Jarrell and tied with Rogers for second place. Only the top three teams advance to the postseason. Full Story

Milano rises to No. 10 in latest coaches poll
With District 27A play now underway, Milano’s real test has begun.
The No. 10 ranked Eagles passed their first and second challenge of league action with a 71- 31 road win over Thrall on Friday and a 66-32 victory over Georgetown Gateway on Tuesday.
