Dawgs continue to roll
The Bulldogs improved to 18-5 overall and 5-1 in District 27-2A by blitzing Lago Vista 66-44 and Lexington 57-32 on Tuesday.
“I think we are playing well,” said Thor ndale Coach Doug Franklin. “We realize there is a long way to go and we can’t let up. We need to keep trying to get better and improve all the time or things could go bad in a hurry.
“ There are too many good teams for us to not constantly push forward and try to improve our individual and team skills. I’m proud of how our kids have played and practiced and I hope we can keep doing things right and play well and give ourselves a chance to keep winning games.”
In the win over the Eagles, Dillon Irwin racked up a careerhigh 17 points, eight rebounds and three steals, while Issac Leyendecker chipped in 12 points (three-three pointers) and Paxton Jordan 10.
